the backpack theory

How much does your life weigh? Imagine for a second you are carrying a backpack I want you to pack it with all the stuff you have in your life. everything from a TV to ur home. heavy isnt it? now suppose that u wake up in the morning and backpack is gone. exhilarating!! u can start afresh, go for ur dreams, do watever u want.
now fill backpack with people u know, ranging from ur acquaintance to relatives and intimate ones. feel pressure on shoulders. make no mistake, relationships are heaviest components in life.
Whats ur choice? Moving fast or slow. This is the question ‘up in the air’ presents to you.
It starts with a girl, fresh out of college, who has joined a firm whose job is to ensure easy exit of fired employees. George Clooney, who plays her mentor, is a workaholic man who runs from relationships. He helps her change to face emotional challenges bt ends up changing himself.
Anna Kendrick has done a good work. Clooney is as usual excellent.
My rating- 8
My pick on the dilemma, moving together even if it slows me. I believe in enjoying the journey rather than worrying for what’s at the end. But sometimes to appreciate what u hv, u need to empty ur backpack and see what u want to keep back. Avoid all temptations. Put only what u need. This way u’d avoid dragging un-necessary weight. It happens with everyone. Remember wen u leave a room u hv lived for years, how u leave many things behind. Now think what was stopping u from throwing them out earlier. a inertia.
That’s the philosophy, leave inertia behind and see how life can be light and delight.
