road to sangam,,,way to go

Another gift from Allahabad after Hasil. A sensitive must watch movie for all. Carefully made without hurting sentiments of anyone. Provokes every1 to break to stop and think.
It’s based on the real story of a muslim mechanic fighting differences, anger and hatred among the community. He has a engine to repair which’ll be used to deliver Mahatma Gandhi’s remains into sangam. But his community is asking him to stop the work due to ongoing struggle with government. How he fights his dilemma and finally makes whole community agree to his cause, that’s the crux.
Acting is accurate as expected from veterans. But I fell for the backdrop of Allahabad. The language, innocent people and simple life everything is shown as virgin as it is. Had a nostalgic feeling throughout the movie.
Its funny discussing hurt locker vs avatar for oscar wen u have movies like this which dont leave a doubt over its quality and needs no award to prove its worth (although it has won many national and international ones and is being called the best Gandhi movie till date).
My rating – 8
